Woot!!! This is page 2 of my 4-pages mini-comic, which is part of our "Tale Spin Fan Comics project" : [link]


Again, I spent countless hours on that one, but I think it's worth it! I really like the result :) Of course I totally messed up some parts, like Mad Dog's plane (again, I'm no artist) and I think I lack...I don't know..."immediateness"? like, not having to redo the same lines *over and over* until it looks right!

I decided not to shade the characters this time, it looks better without it and is closer to the original show.

I really love traditional animation, and a huge fan of TaleSpin (as you guessed) so I was very disappointed when Boom! Studios announced they couldn't make a TaleSpin comic due to their licence not covering it. So this is part of the reason why I'm doing it : to give justice to the best Disney show ever and let people remember it!

(Trivia : can you name all the characters on this page?)

I believe page 3 should be ready around september (yes, long wait but I'm not here for two weeks, so...)

You're right, it's a shame that even if Disney "forgot" about the Disney Afternoon as a whole, it's even worse for TaleSpin which seem to never get any love from the companies (be it merchandise or comics...); and for no real reason, it was just as popular as the others back then... :/

Its a furry alternate WW2 centered around a German pilot.Kinda like Talespin.

Just a little update! It's been quite a while since page 2 (sorry...I wish I had more free time), but I have finished drawing page 3 and I'm ready to color it! So, stay tuned!
